Two Cities, One Language
“Two Cities, One Language” is a fictional serialized story that follows the two protagonists, Alba and Liam, during their time after moving to Germany.
Alba is a Spanish woman from Seville who has moved to Cologne. Liam is an Englishman from Manchester who has moved to Munich. The two met during an online language course before their move and become best friends over the course of the story.
The story is at approximately B1 language level and combines the development of reading comprehension with topics relevant to expats in Germany, such as German culture, geography, customs, and quirks, as well as practical topics like bureaucracy and emotional topics like homesickness.
