verzichten é um verbo regular que significa “renunciar a”, “abrir mão de” ou “abster-se de”. A construção típica é auf + acusativo (auf etwas verzichten). Particípio passado: verzichtet; no Perfekt usa haben. Não é reflexivo. Muito usado com álcool, direitos e hábitos.
