‘wann’ is an interrogative adverb meaning “when” (asks time). Use in direct and indirect questions. Not a prepositional or reflexive form. Contrast with “wenn” (conditional/whenever). No inflection; cannot be combined with case or auxiliary verbs. Common in spoken and written German.
