VOCABULARY.DETAILS.NOTES
Melden can be transitive (etwas melden = to report something) or reflexive (sich melden = to get in touch / to introduce oneself). Common in bureaucratic and everyday contexts. Formal imperative (Sie) requires the pronoun 'Sie' in German and cannot be expressed without it; therefore the 'Sie' form in the imperative is marked as 'not applicable' in the conjugations.
