Bleiben means 'to stay' or 'to remain'. It is a strong (irregular) verb: Präteritum 'blieb', Partizip II 'geblieben'. Its perfect tenses use auxiliary sein (ich bin geblieben). Non‑reflexive and intransitive; no special preposition. Imperative: bleib (du), bleibt (ihr), bleiben (Sie).
