Wunderbar means wonderful or marvelous. It is a gradable adjective with comparative wunderbarer and superlative am wunderbarsten. Antonym is furchtbar. It follows normal adjective declension (e.g., eine wunderbare Idee) and is not a participle, reflexive or auxiliary verb. Common in spoken and written German to express approval or delight.
