conjunction
therefore, that''s why
A2
deshalb: coordinating conjunction or sentence adverb meaning 'therefore' or 'that's why'. It does not push the verb to the end; in main clauses it occupies a V2 position, causing subject-verb inversion if placed first. Not reflexive. Common in spoken and written German to express consequence or reason.
