Interjections (Interjektionen) — Emotional Noises 💥😲
Interjections are isolated words expressing sudden emotion, reactions, or greetings (Au!, Hey!, Ach so!, Mmh). They exist independently from the rest of the sentence, have no grammatical connection to other words, and never change their form.

Interjections are words that express sudden emotion. They are not grammatically connected to the rest of the sentence.
They add "flavor" to your spoken German.
